Reveiw GIF

This is the animated GIF that was my reveiw
assignment. First off i inserted the first picture
and then inserted all of the other images as
layers. Because they were all too large, i had
too scale them down. Which i did that by going
up to the menus and image, then scale image,
and then from there just brought them down to
around 400. After they were scaled down, i had
to make then animated, so right click on the pic.
and go to the filters, then animation, and then
optimize for GIMP. After that i got a new picture
which i saved as a .xcf and a .gif. after you save it
right click on the picture again and animation and
then playback. A new picture will come up and then
hit play. if it's not the speed i wanted it to be then
i can go to my layers, channels, and paths and change
the speed of the change thing. when you're all done
save it again as a .xcf and a .gif. To import it into
your blog, open up flock and open google docs
insert your pic, and then drag it over in the
clipboard. Go to your blog then and drag it into
a new post, and your all set!

Texture

This is two pictures, one of me, and one of a pile of rocks that are put together creating this kind of effect. Most of what i did was just on the layer mode and what order i put the layers in . I also had to color black around myself so that the rocks wouldn't show up on the wall behind me. Although it looks gray it's just the layer mode that i was in, overlay, that made it look like a gray and not black.

Pop-Art

This is a more advanced pop-art, and it took awhile to finish.
Some of the tools i used were the paintbrush, the layers mode,
the newsprint filter, and applying threshold to the image.

Hands and Eyes

Sorry 'bout the big space, but i couldn't make it smaller. Well i didn't know how to make it smaller. Anyways i started this project out by watching the tutorial. Some of the tools i used are copy and paste, the eraser, and the color curve. Oh and also when i put my eyes up on my forehead it looked really weird, and not in a good way. So i moved them down and thought that they looked much better and even cooler than just the palms showing, 'cause this way it's like my eyes are peeking through my fingers, but then again my eyes are in front of my fingers, so it's tricky. And that was a really long run-on sentence, sorry.
I fixed it! no more big white space...

Animated Action of the playground

Animated GIF

This is an animated GIF and first of all i made alot of copy of the picture and then with each one, i changed the hue and saturation. After they were all different colors, i put them together and then this is what turned out.

Pop-Up Art

I used the quick mask, the paintbrush tool and the paintbucket tool to create this effect. I also used Mr. Herbert's video to help me do this.

Custom Photo Settings

The first collage are super macro pictures, then the motion pictures, then color settings like black and white and sepia. The last one are pictures on high and low exposure settings.
